Native Women in Film & Television in All Media (NWIFTV) in All Media founded in 1995 by Joanelle Romero who saw a pressing need in the Entertainment Industry for a networking and education platform for Native and Indigenous women and girls.

NWIFTV is made up of Native and Indigenous women including Allies, who work in all aspects of television, film and digital media, from behind-the-scenes to in front of the camera to the executive suite.

Since the COVID-19 crisis began in March 2020, we have:
- Created RNCI Crew for Women. Powered by Crewvie.
- Screened 64 Films Directed by Women
- Launched virtual ‘Conversation Series’
- Provided more than 100+ virtual programs for our community and the Entertainment Industry.
- Presents an annual Monthly Film Series
- Continued Campaign #WhyWeWearRED
- Encouraged members to network daily through our Facebook page.
Membership Requirements
NWIFTV membership is open to individuals with a minimum of one year of professional experience in film, television, or digital media.
WHO CAN APPLY
Individuals of North American Indian, First Nation Peoples of Canada, Alaska Native and International Indigenous Peoples from Mexico, South America, New Zealand, Australia.
Allies who are not Native Indigenous but would like to become a member in support of NWIFTV can also apply.
Membership applications are reviewed by the staff and submitted to the Board of Directors for approval on a monthly basis.
